Wildlife & Livestock Aerial Survey Process
This page outlines the process used for wildlife and livestock-related aerial survey services provided by J&E Tex Drones LLC. Certain wildlife services require advance planning, coordination, and documentation prior to flight operations. The information below explains what clients can expect before scheduling a wildlife or livestock aerial survey.
01 — Quote & Consultation
Wildlife and livestock aerial survey services begin with a consultation to understand property size, objectives, survey type, and operational requirements. Information such as acreage, terrain, areas of interest, and intended use of the data helps determine the appropriate scope of work. A customized quote is then provided based on the specific service requested.
02 — Scheduling
Once a quote is approved, the project is scheduled based on aircraft availability, weather conditions, and optimal survey timing. Wildlife-related surveys may require specific flight windows such as nighttime, early morning, or low-light conditions to support effective thermal data collection.
03 — Planning & Required Documentation
Certain wildlife and livestock aerial survey services require advance planning and documentation prior to flight operations. This may include landowner authorization, property access coordination, and project-specific planning to ensure safe and compliant operations.
J&E Tex Drones LLC provides aerial data collection and visual documentation services only and does not issue permits, certifications, or biological determinations. All data collected is intended to support planning, recordkeeping, and consultation with licensed wildlife professionals when applicable.
04 — Flight Operations & Data Collection
Flight operations are conducted using non-intrusive, low-impact aerial methods designed to minimize disturbance to wildlife, livestock, and land operations. Surveys are performed using enterprise-grade unmanned aircraft systems equipped with thermal and visual sensors appropriate for the selected service.
05 — Data Review & Delivery
Following the flight, collected imagery is reviewed and organized for delivery. Clients receive access to aerial imagery and visual documentation suitable for planning, review, and long-term reference. Deliverables vary by service and are outlined on each individual service page.
Important Note
This process applies only to wildlife and livestock-related aerial survey services. Ranch mapping, property surveys, and other non-wildlife services may not require the same planning or documentation steps. Please refer to the individual service page for service-specific details.
